Who we are
The Track
Dirt Dudes R/C Park is a maintained black soil and clay mix 1/10th scale dirt oval built on a working farm in Delmar, Maryland. Designed from the ground up for competitive RC oval racing, the track is equipped with Trackmate transponder timing, lit for night racing, and built to grow with the sport.
The track was built by James and Jimmy Schnepel, Ross Wark, Rob Hart, and Shantell Schnepel — a dedicated crew that put in the work to bring something special to the Eastern Shore. Our goal is simple: welcome new racers into the hobby while giving competitive drivers a track worth racing on.
The track is due to open July 19th, with a full official season planned for 2027. Whether you're running your first laps or chasing a championship, there's a place for you here.

Know before you go
Rules
Respect
Treat everyone with respect — racers, crew, and officials alike. We are all here for the same reason.
No Alcohol
This is a family facility. NO ALCOHOL on the property at any time — period.
No Pets
No pets allowed on the property. There is livestock here. Leave your furry friends at home.
Conduct
Keep your hands to yourself. Anyone who lays a hand on another person is done for the season and possibly for good.
Theft
Don't touch what isn't yours. Anyone caught stealing is banned for life — no appeals, no exceptions.
Pit Area
Clean up after yourself. Electric hookups are available for charging — use them and leave them ready for the next person.
Trailers & Generators
If you plan to bring a trailer, bring a generator. Do not plan on running your trailer off the track hookups.
Children
Kids are welcome! Keep an eye on them at all times — including around the farm animals. This is a farm, not a petting zoo.
Electric Fence
The horse pasture has an electric fence. Stay at least 3 feet away at all times. It will remind you if you forget.
Working Farm
If it doesn't have to do with racing, don't touch it — not the equipment, not the fences, not the animals. Nothing.
No Gyros
NO gyros in any class except Novice. AVC and TSM also banned unless stated per class. If you need a computer to drive, Novice is your class.
Battery Voltage
No battery in any class may exceed 8.44 volts. We reserve the right to check your voltage at any time — charge accordingly.
Registration
Everyone in your group signs a waiver and registers before your car hits the track. Not after. Not during. Before.
Marshaling
You marshal the race directly before your own. EVERYONE MARSHALS. Can't make it? Find a replacement before your race.
Adjustments
Once the race starts your wrench stays in your pocket. Pull off to make an adjustment after the green flag and you are disqualified.
Readiness
Know when your main is up. We are NOT waiting for you to finish charging or cleaning tires. Be on that grid on time.
Tech Inspection
Top 4 finishers get teched after the feature at points races. Visual and weight check only. Fail tech and your points are void — you start from the back for the next 3 races.
Bump Ups
Top 2 finishers from the B and C mains transfer to the next main. Earn your spot.
Class Size
Minimum 3 cars registered to run a class. Typically 6 to 8 cars per main depending on the night.
Track Lights
Red means stop, yellow means caution, green means go. Obey the lights at all times or face disqualification.
